Backyard Exploring | Crystal Cove

I get caught up with wanting to explore things in the distance, so I told myself to explore my surroundings. Crystal Cove is part of Newport Beach in Orange County, located between the Pacific Ocean and the Pacific Coast highway. What sets this beach apart from the rest is the Historic District of beach cottages that were built in the 1920s and 1930s. The cove was also a popular location for movies.
The Brewmaster’s Table- Forget the wine! Recommended if you want to build your knowledge about beer so good that you can pair great beer to with great food!I couldn’t do some exploring without exploring food! I’ve been wanting to try Paninoteca Maggio for about two months now. They won me over when I discovered they had a caprese sandwich with prosciutto, the Amalfi- prosciutto, mozzarella, tomatoes, arugula, basil pesto and balsamic glaze- these are a few of my favorite things. I swapped my boyfriend halves; he got the Bologna- Spicy c, mortadella, genoa salami, provolone, tomatoes, spinach, and lemon aioli. It was good, but I wasn’t in the mood for all that meat and he wasn’t feeling the balsamic glaze so we swapped it back!

Paninoteca Maggio is located in Santa Ana and is currently working out of a food truck until their new location is ready.
